Synopsis:
Sora no Otoshimono is all about a small town average teenager named Sakurai Tomoki with all the right flags going his way. He's been having dreams of girl that keeps vanishing in his visions. He has his cute childhood friend (oh don't they all) and has been enjoying his life of peace and quiet until an Angeloid named Ikaros comes crashing down to earth and lord be hold becomes Tomoki's personal geenie. Basically he gets the ultimate geass tool, the power to get anything/do anything and literally rule world just from a simple command. Hilarity,Excitement, and tradgedy ensues when he uses this power for his own ecchi agenda and accidentally wishes for some thing terrible. To his dismay the command cannot be reversed. Can Tomoki get out of this Dai Pinchi? Guess you'll have to find out!
First Impressions:
I was sooo expecting another blatant ecchi service show until I realized it actually had a plot no matter how bizarre/cliche it is. Who wouldn't want one of those Angeloid things to do uhm exactly what he did. Aside from having a really comfortable atmosphere, It really shined in the Animation and Comedy department's. This was Produced by studio AIC ASTA who also worked on Blood + and Bambooblade which was apparent in how shiny and colorful everything is. The character designs are very crisp and refreshing which makes it very edible eye candy. The Bgm wasn't bad nor too memorable but it played appropriate tunes for the happy/funny/sad parts of the episode. For a show that was under the radar this season, it brings me oldschool vibes from Ah my Goddess and Chobits, so if you were a fan of those series I recommend giving this one a peek.
xtra note: (I hear rumors of a loli type Angeloid appearing soon so DFC fan's don't despair for long!)
