I wonder if seiyuus earn good money in comparison to other jobs in japan? I wonder how it compares to a profession like engineer or accountant?

I don't think voice actors/actress get paid much, and it's pretty hard work from what I've heard too.

I'd be willing to bet they make a pretty decent living, anime makes a lot of money in Japan, so no reason not to pay your talent well.

even if it doesnt make alot. its one of those jobs that is for the people who have a passion for it. "Cant tell me if any of you ever got the chance to voice an character that you would turn it down." is how i see voice acting. not too sure about regular about regular acting
