Pretty depressing, but also a bit hard to follow. Thought he was just a big whiner at some points >.> Getting all depressed because he got books instead of a lions-mask?

Just saw the anime pop up on Anime Season today. Haven't watched it yet but I think I will later today after I catch up on all my other ones. It looks interesting.

You didn't exactly keep up did you? He wanted books, which apparently made his father angry, so he wrote lion's mask in his father's notebook to appease him.
