at home it's tough to be physically next to a friend when watching the new episode of some epic airing series, but it's a lot more convenient to do so while at dorms. if you haven't, i really suggest you try doing so. it makes the whole experience so much cooler.

so i ask you: do you watch anime with friends? if you have, share your experiences!

Only one my friends has just finished with the Clannad series and thoroughly enjoyed it as well GTO, FMP, Claymore and a few others and is sharing with his girlfriend while another friend is into Naruto so I'm trying to pollute him with more interesting anime

My friends think I'm weird for watching anime. LOL So, no... I watch alone.

I have convinced a couple of people to eventually watch CLANNAD... If it ever gets dubbed that is. They both refuse to watch anything subtitled. One has bad eyes, and probably would miss half of what's going on trying to read so I kind of understand. The other can't stand reading period, and she will gripe for days if there are even one or two of subbed lines in movies. LOL

Haha man I usually watch anime while the friends play games at times they lose interest then decide to grab a seat then start watching out of curiosity

this is also sad. we live in a world of language both spoken and written. THEY ARE THE WEIRD ONES >:O

Most of my colleagues criticize my love for japanese animation and my hate for western one. There are a few that watch, but tastes are different.

I've only known three people who liked good anime and one I wasn't really sure about. She just knew about Death Note and Bleach, so I am guessing she didn't like what I like. With the other two, one only bought licensed DVDs and was the type who says "if it is a good airing show, it will eventually make it here" so he never watched airing shows and I never watched with him. The last one watched even more airing shows than me, but with that he always had something new to watch and I generally only like 1-3 airing shows a season.

In short, I never watch with friends.
