I agree with Ang3lo
They are much more emotional and have better story "more lifelike, down-to-earth" - thats it. There are great animes nowadays too, but because of the competition, the close deadlines/limited budget, etc. there are too much meaningless funservice ones. |

As Ang3lo said it used to be made with much more finesse compared to modern day animes. But as with all things evolution stepped in and made some thing for the better.
The main thing is that we still have a chance to make the decision ourselves weather we like what we get or not. |

I like both old and new. There's lots of craps from the old days as there's lots of gems from the "new" generation.
I can't really generalize about them, truly. ![]() I do regret the current fanservice wave that seems common in each show now (too much, too many, too often...) but I do welcome the energy of some new shows that I didn't get with the old ones. I do agree with Ang3lo about the fast food delivery of some new shows and how they're made just to entertain (and engross money) before being easily forgotten, but I still am hopeful and I know there are many artists and writers out there who still want to make quality shows. We just have to look for them more carefully.
