I nearly fell out of my chair the first time I saw that scene. I was like, "Wait, Shinji is actually straight?!"
I kinda hope they work that scene into the rebuild, just so I can have laughing at how pathetic he is all over again.

Well, my first choices have already been said, Taiga & Ryujii and Belldandy & Keichii. So how about Haruhi and Kyon! Granted theirs is more of a Master and slave relationship, but then again, that just means they're closer to married life than most anime couples.
