I recently found, hopefully, awesome news on Sankaku Complex about Black Rock Shooter having chances of an anime adaption.

I'm not sure myself if there will be an anime adaption, but chances are probably high.

But I'm still thinking; if this is going to have an anime adaption, what will it be about? o_O

As I understand it from information I pieced together from the internet:

The Song was created by a vocaloid user Supercell, the character was designed afterward by Huke to match the song, and not actually based on Hatsune Miku despite the similar dual ponytails. First video was apparently of a Second Life modded character later a bigger effort by the character designer was made in creating the video above. The popularity of the song and character have spawned an art book and a model kit.

The story seems a little mild to me though and While I'm sure a better effort can be made to flesh out the story I couldnt imagine a very good anime adaption being made from what currently exists.

It'd be especially amazing for BRS to be developed into an anime before Hatsune Miku manages to get one considering her popularity and the popularity of Vocaloids in general.

If it really gets a anime then i guess it would turn out to be 6 OVA or close to that
and the story can be read here it's jap so use a translator or something

Like it says, it's some kind of "pilot edition" to the original anime adaption, it's even written (Pilot Edition) on the cover, hopefully that will make the chances of an adaption higher And the artwork looks great.

Whether it'll end up being a 6 episode OVA or not, I don't know, but if it is going to be made into an OVA, chances of a better adaption will be higher.
