Sora o Kakeru Shoujo (Girl who leapt through Space)

First Impressions:

just watched the first episode. I gotta say i have mixed feelings with this series. The animation quality is nice, and i was surprised to see a huge colony from the UC era of gundam appear outa nowhere. Im curious to see how this will fair with sunrise's other mecha series. Characters at first seem bland but the saving grace was Jun Fukuyama doing his zero voice as Leopard the A.I. that was pretty interesting. Not a lot of action and not a lot of information was given to us viewers by the end of the first ep, so its hard to decide what direction the story is going to. Oh and it doesnt help that the OP is sung by those ALi Project People. Cant make a decent judgement about the series until a few more eps. Any thoughts are welcome.

I think I should watch a few more episodes to make reviews. But as 1st impression, the animation was good. I hope more things would be answered on the next episode.

This one is one of those animes that gave me a terribly bad first impression, but got me hoocked at the end of the first episode nonetheless.
The characters in general aren't very good, but the AI is awesome, and I like Konoha too. The animation is ok, but with good cg at the same time.

It's a hard anime to judge, because it changed too much during the first 2 episodes, changing from boring to really good from one second to the next (mostly because of Leopard being on scene or not).

Still, I'm eager to see episode 3 and see how this anime keep evolving.
