Eureka Seven Ao Gets TV Anime in April 2012

The official website for the Eureka Seven: Astral Ocean (Eureka Seven Ao) project announced on Friday in Japan that a television anime version will air starting in April 2012. The anime studio BONES will return to animate the sequel series.

The February issue of Kadokawa Shoten's Monthly Shōnen Ace magazine is announcing on Monday that Eureka Seven Ao, a manga sequel to the Eureka Seven television anime series, will launch in the next issue on January 26. The "real mecha epic" will center around a boy named Ao who "set 'destiny' in motion again when he held the 'power.'" Artist Yūichi Katō is drawing the manga based on the original story by the anime studio BONES.

This.......will........be........the....... BEST ANIME NEXT YEAR. Simply put, I cant wait XD. The first series was so awesome, I really wish for this to be too, and by the looks of it, it will be XD

When the sequel manga was announced, I was excited. When the sequel tv anime series was announced, I was on the verge of tears XD, MANLY tears of course lol

I remember the first season. Best way I could have described it at the time to others was "It's like gundam, but more story screen time and less mecha battle time"

Great show and so cool there's a second season. If it can be as great as Last Exile's Second Season attempt then I'm all in for the long haul if they make it 50 episodes

For sure, having the second series stand up for 50 episodes wouldn't put anybody off if they know how cool the first season was, and friggin hell, the main character looks like Renton and Eureka's son. two words EPIC WIN. Synopsis hasn't even been revealed yet and I already know that its gonna be something special XD
