Default Yugioh gx dubbed or subbed? - 12-19-2011, 01:29 PM

What do you prefer? Bo's watching subbed though she started out with dubbed. The hillybilly accent of one of Chazz?'s followers annoyed the hell outta her though~ What do you think?

Depends what Yugi-Oh.

Old Yugi = Dubbed for me, cause that's just my childhood.

Never started watching the newer one's though.

All of the yugioh series should be subbed period.

always vote for the subbed. Original voice most likely better then the dubbed version.

Spherii said it, "Dubbed for me, cause that's just my childhood".

All dubbed is geared towards a younger audience. Certainly younger then it is in Japan. Though there are exceptions such as Cowboy Bebop and GITS, generally these are rare.

Back in the seventies we had no subbed so we really didn't even know what we were missing. The script wasn't the only thing they did to make it more child friendly either. That dam robot named 7-Zark-7 still gives me nightmares. But watch any anime (both subbed and dubbed version) and say you still prefer the dubbed. Not gonna happen unless your under the age of 12.

So subbed of course.

Subbed by far. The OST for the subbed versions are also different (and by different I mean much better). There's so much emotion going into the original Japanese dubs when watching Yu-Gi-Oh. Subbed versions are very rare to find nowadays so if you get a chance to, always watch them over the English dub since it cuts out a lot of the crap often found on 4kids dubs.

Ah~ Bo will admit she agrees with everyone. Haha~ And is super glad her topic actually got a reply! ^^

@Spherii,
Yu Gi Oh GX! is what Bo is currently watching~

@AhGwee
Finding subbed torrents for season 1 of Yu Gi Oh GX ended up being impossible for Dao-chan... or was it Bluffie-chan? But~ Kurry-nii who isn't on AT found Bo place to stream it and they amazingly have good quality and Bo doesn't have to wait random period of time after watching 60 minutes or something. (^u^)V
