Never liked this kind of art style. From a a couple of scenes you could tell that this is faintly aimed at females. Just look at the comments.

I can see what you mean I wonder if it will follow how the manga is running for it. In the case the romance between Saizou and Isanami (which the manga follows).

Doesn't really make a difference to me either way watching all the new anime in January.

It was a pretty neat first episode. Some evil dude(s) wants Isanami's power and is after her. Sanada wants to assemble 10 dudes including a chick or two to counter against that evil.

Saizou the samurai swordsman

Saizou's a lordless samurai who has trust issues. The fights are pretty cool and fluid. Same goes for animation which is top notch.

The plot's interesting and it seems that Sanada already has two horsemen by his side, which makes it a total of three dudes that are residing in his castle. He has to search for seven more to complete his collection.

Well, I'm pumped for this. The only thing that can spoil this now is a reverse harem setting and/or a gloomy crappy story like Basilisk.

Really nice OP.
This was kinda Hakuouki meets Sengoku Basara.
Guess it's 'cause the characters are drawn in the same way and it's that period in time..
Very interesting so far.
Will be watching it!

I'm liking this so far. I thought this was going to be a 10 men wrecking crew but we got ourselves some women.

I doubt it will be a reverse harem. It is following of the same process as the manga in that case it will show the romance between Saizou and Isanami.

Not so good 1st half, a really good 2nd half, interesting OP and it looks promising in the future.
