Unfortunately, this is indeed the situation. Shows like Eden of the East are at least keeping me strung along with some semblance of hope. Shows like K-ON and Saki make me cry at night. I don't care if they exist, but the fact that they are taking up funds that could go into an interesting show fills me with sorrow. Hopefully, once Japan gets there heads around this whole "internet" thing, and starts bringing in money that way so they don't have to keep making cookie cutter moeblob shows, another golden age of anime can emerge. In all honesty though, at this point things look pretty bleak... |

saki maybe, but shows like k-on and lucky star are awesome shows for me, i know that eden of the east is a great show, but i wouldn't want all my shows to be like that, i also want some no brainer shows that i can relax on, guess to each their own^^ |
