Hanasaku Iroha is getting a 2nd season.

Ohana: Isn't that great? We'll all get to see how you and Tohru get all lovey-dovey in the future!

"The production committee of the Hanasaku Iroha television anime series had announced in October that it was producing a "new visual work" of Hanasaku Iroha next year, but it did not specify if the new work was animated or not."

Which would lead to the question of why they refer to the project as "anime".

Oh, I didn't see this post when I first read this thread. Anyways, that's good news. It was expected anyways, the first season didn't have that good of a wrap up ending & It was obvious this series was going to do really well. Anyways, Glad that i'll be able to enjoy more Minchi.

Its been finally clarified that the new work which was previously announced is a movie!!

Hana-saku Iroha: Home Sweet Home is gonna open in theaters later in 2012.

I just hope to god its an original and not a recap. I would love to know what happened to all of my favorite characters after they closed down Kissuiso.

From the title its possible that they could re-open the inn again since it was their home.

I just can't wait for this to come out.
