I have been watching anime for longer then most here have been alive. So I think I am uniquely qualified to ask why? Just why the hell is this getting a second season when so many really good anime fall by the way side. That's a rhetorical question by the way. I know why. The tastes of fans inside Japan are not the same as outside the country. But still.
I fear that dark days lay ahead. What's next more Milky Holmes? (digritz checks 2011/2012 scheduled,. Milky Holmes 2),. DAM IT!

I don't mind having a second season for that anime.
There have been way worse that have gotten a second season.

As long as they keep making second seasons for all the good series, then I don't mind watching Dog Days' second.

Let me add a caveat to this............
There may be worst anime then Dog Days however there are many more that deserve a second season that miss out.
