Because it is an OVA. Two eps every two months is considered good. Some only has 4 eps over the span of 2 years,

This seems to be the case, but we still don't have OFFICIAL word from neither TMS or Shiori so I wouldn't celebrate just yet...

The good thing about this movie is the music and character design...

TMS is producing the second season of LC Anime

Not a hot news but this is what happen early today.

Today the company held a press conference and they informed to the media that TMS is currently producing the second season of Saint Seiya The Lost Canvas Meiou Shinwa and it will be released this 2010 and it will keep the bimonthly DVD/BD release. It was told that every volume so far has an average of 10,000 units sold in their first limited version. Thanks to this success and the international licensing business there is a project to continue with this series.

2010年よりシーズン２待望のDVD・BD化！
シーズン２へと継続が決定した。

Yay for TMS! i have to say though i love the original manga, the artist they chose to do the lost canvas manga is a lot more enjoyable, she's a great artist. (she usually writes some shoujo/smut manga, good thing she used her talents on this than those genre)
