I'd like to not assume too much but Kanon has done this already and has done better. Generic boy talks and helps the girls as they come to love him over time. Probably a single or a set of episodes will be spent for a specific girl during which Shingo will lure them in with his kindness.
Sena already seems to like Shingo but won't admit it because she wants the school to stay a prude's paradise.
Will give this a chance if I don't doze off first. This anime is taking the safe route. You can't love it but you can't hate it either.
