As of episode 1, I liked the show so far. It's intriguing and have some cliffhangers.
I agree, I thought he would solve the puzzle himself and show his brilliancy but it was all thanks to his friend Nonoha. So I don't see him worthy of the treasure he got. Because it wasn't his effort alone when he was challenged by Minotaur.
And I do really hate stupid characters running around like chickens without thinking a little bit and they think they are doing something good or smart. And what? She saw that on the net, oh come on, you can't believe in such stuff. Those characters tends always to expose others for risks and themselves.
And one more thing, the main protagonist Kaito reminds me of the main protagonist Shichika Yasuri from Katanagatari.
