Synopsis
Based from Sakaguchi Ango’s novel “Meiji Kaika Ango Torimonocho”.

Meiji-era story about a detective named Yuki Shinjuro, who solves various incidents that happen in his circle of friends. The adaptation will utilize an original story set in the near future, revolving around the detective and a boy named Inga, who continually encounter mysterious cases.

I do like detective stories, but what is with the girl's outfit? Her face looks like she wouldn't be caught dead in anything cute.

Completely unimpressive first episode. It was obvious as day that it was the wife who had killed him. They tried to make it look interesting but it wasn't good enough. Even Yuuki solved the case without straining a nerve and he really doesn't make much of an strong impression (probably because he doesn't have cheesy catchphrase).

Inga is one fudged up weirdo who I hear goes all apeshit when stuff happens. They hafta put a screwed up boy as his side-kick don't they?

And seriously Yuuki's boss is really something. Can't yet decide whether I like her or not but she is interesting. Freaking weird that her name is the same as Yuuki's assistant. She has the same hair color and resembles the boy. Don't tell me that boy turns into her. Creepy as fu*k.

Love the art and animation. Bones. Figures. Hopefully they'll come up with more complex cases next time that can't be solved in five seconds. I'm keeping my senses open.

Yeah, it's pretty much obvious that it's him/her. Also, I agree with you on how obvious the case was.
