Bones new project, Un-Go

It describes it as a pair that run around solving mysteries. Gee what a new concept. NOT!
Well maybe with Bone at the whelm it will be a step above the recent mystery solving pair fair. At any rate it has a more adult feel to it then what we have recently experienced with shows like Gosick and Kamisama no Memochou. Not that those were bad, just not sophisticated enough for my tastes.

It can be good but not because the Bones will do it. They can fail as any other studio but the story is promising.

Thats true but i have watched many anime by them and they were all great so far. Darker than Black series is my #2 favu of all time. FMA, Gosick, Soul Eater and others are freakin awesome as well.

Bones certainly has top-quality production, but they can only do so much with source material. Not every story is another Monster. I'd really like some more sophisticated shows, but a high-level production, albeit moe-fied, show like Gosick is a fine alternative.

That said, I have high hopes for this one as well. I'm glad to see Bones is getting more stuff out there. The days of Brotherhood seem so long ago...

Hmm, it doesn't look too bad, I think it might be worth checking out.

Oh and it looks like Seito Kaiba grown up and decided to stop trying to play children's card game to take over the world.

Man you just took the words out of my mouth. I liked Gosick and do like Kamisama no memochou but the fact they're 16 years old always seems to ring in the back of my mind when watching these. I truly love anime where the characters are adults especially in an investigation anime. For example I am currently watching Monster and absolutely love it because it doesn't 'beat around the bush' and they're all adults trying to accomplish their desires. If this new anime is anything like Monster in this way it will be a winner for me.

Good i like bones, im sick of seeing all that loli crap come out and way to many harem/school things all basically end the same and then the pointless stuff for me like that stupid vampire cat anime. Stuff like darker than black,durarara, Bakemonogatari,FMA, Xam'd or even star driver(mostly bones anime) dont come out often enough. Soul eater wasnt that grown up but was still very entertaining. The only anime i stopped watching from bones was heroman only just found out they were invovled with that.

Agreed, must say did not like durarara to much, starting watching it but it's boring after a while. but the rest was good.. well except for hero man did not like that at all..... to childish

Well i think durarara was one of those animes that you have to at least watch 20 episodes but i guess every 1 cant like everything.

Guess the animes without all the panty shot's and bouncing breast are the best for stories but they dont sell as much because of the lack of fan service wish it was the other way round. Though Sora no Otoshimono doesnt count cuz it's awesome.
