Woot, moar BRS

this time, into TV series!!

Last Friday, a TV ad in Japan announced that BRS anime will be aired in January next year (2012 Winter).

It will be aired in Fuji TV (NoitaminA: programming block devoted for anime).

Not focused in fanservice,kawaiiness or mindless fights but in plot developpment.

I can already guess how many episode it gets. 24 at highest.
I hope they at least get a chance to introduce all the new characters that appeared around the internet. Maybe even the black matagi and the black gold saw.

I second that. It certainly has the potential for a great anime. Lets hope that the series standards are at least comparable to the OVA.

Also NoitaminA is a animation TV time-slot not an animation studio. The animation studio will most likely be Ordet. They did the OVA.

Sweet this is awesome news.
I so have been waiting for an anime series for Black★Rock Shooter. Lets hope it's deep with an excellent plot. At least like the OVA was.

Regarding the airing time, at wikipedia it says "A TV anime series will air in Fuji TV's Noitamina slot in January 2012" and so does ANN. Anyway it's less than 6 months.
Waiting until then...
