Question Kara no Kyoukai watch order - 08-07-2011, 03:11 AM

Hi,
I'm not sure how I should watch this anime, the timeline order as in 2,4,3,1,5,6,7 or normal releases 1,2,3,4,5,6,7. I've watched animes that jump between timelines before, but the way a lot of people actually mention the chronological order makes me assume it's a better anime if watched that way.

Could someone please tell me if it matters?

Thanks

If you have them all go with chronological, the story flows much better that way, the release order is the same as the novels but that was just to start off with action and keep people interested.

I suggest you go with the order of the movie... Not chronological order. It'll add on to your suspense! Haha!

Well I'm onto 1 now so but seeing as it's 5,6,7 in both release and timeline, it ends the same.

This is pretty much the same argument you get with The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya. I say the broadcast/release order is better on both.

The chronological order is much better, really. You understand the story better that way. I started watching from 1 and i was like: WTF. But then i watched in the chronological order and it made so much sense. XD

See, I think confusion like that is part of the process intended by the creators sometimes.

For Haruhi I would totally go chronological order but with Kara no Kyoukai I would stick to the original order. I dunno why but it felt more interesting watching it that way.
