Okay, there was a harem anime that premiered maybe 2-3 years ago that featured a girl who was either a puppet or golem (clockwork?) and ends up being found by this really popular guy. Of course all the girls in the town like him, hence the harem thing. The plot was really kinda terrible, lots of magic and cheesy monsters, but the artwork animation was pretty good. I want to say the main protagonist was an inventor or sorts, but I may be completely wrong.

hello there! 1st of all to thank Otakuduo for showing me that link
and second,my giant wall of text ^^
Recently i remembered an old anime that i saw on tv,but since it was so long ago i only remember flashes of it(not even its translated title or the names in it :S).
what i remember is that the surroundings were like barren land,or something like dessert,i also remember giant Larvae-like beasts with many eyes and weird tentacles on their mouths and other weird creatures,the main lead was a girl that had a weird slingshot(not like the Y shaped slingshots we know,it was like 2 ropes attached to the thing that holds the stone,kinda like the Y shaped ones without the Y shaped wood or plastic they usually have) that made a sound that attracted those creatures and a white(if i recall correctly) glider that came out from between the wings of an old plane she was flying with (some1 else was piloting it)(i remember the glider was like a big wing and having 2 handle bars on top of it,the girl was flying on it standing on top of it and holding the handle bars),and if i remember correctly at the end,there was a baby-sort of thing-creature (with the many eyes) being attacked by humans,and she goes in and waves her slingshot to make that weird sound to attract it away and save it,somewhere in the final momments(again, if i remember correctly) theres is a scene of her on the glider along with that baby creature and a giant wasp (?) going further away.(i also remembered a scene that she was gravely wounded and theese giant larvae looking things went arround her,lifted her with their tentacles and healed her(?))(when i say giant,i mean HUMONGUS) I also cant recall if it was a movie or a series
these are all that i can remember,if i recall more ill edit them here.
this anime might be 10 years old (or even longer than that) judging from the drawing (and ofc i was a small kid back then when i saw it,might be older than princess mononoke)
if any1 knows and can remember it and its title i would be ever gratefull if he send me a message on my profile or write it down here :-)

I was watching an AMV in sankaku. I recognized most of the shows there but I couldn't recognize where this girl came from. do any of you know? Thanks in advance.
