I'm looking for an anime that I saw a really, really long time ago and I can't remember much about it except there were some woman with pigtails with guns that looked badass but realistic, and there was an invading force or something along those lines. I think she was like a Chief or Commander or something. This was probably the first episode of the series. Sorry I can't go into any more details but it's really all I remember.

Isekai No Seikishi Monogatari. Its pretty awesome.

Think it made by the people who made Tenchi, or the guys like Tenchi's great great great grandson or somethng. Lol no idea to be honest which it is. But it's been ongoing and the episodes are like 47 mins!!! Bad part is they release em once every month or two.

There was an anime I saw a couple years back that had a real unique way of animation. Instead of being completely hand drawn or cgi they used alot of photos and still images of indoor settings, cities, and landscapes. From what I remember the basic plot involved a girl moving to Tokyo to attend a school that taught magic. I seem to remember one of the earlier episodes involving a class where the students had to create ice or some such. The plot wasn't particularly exciting and I dropped the anime about halfway but Bakemonogatari has a similar animation style and I was wondering if they are done by the same studio or not.

It's Mahou Tsukai Ni Taisetsu No Koto ~ Natsu no Sora. 100% sure of it.
