Why does everyone say Kai got cancelled? They always planned for it to end at the end of the Cell games, but I see a ton of people thinking it was supposed to go to the Buu saga.

They didn't say when they started it that they were stopping at the cell saga.

I don't think it got canceled, i think they just got tired of doing it.

I think they won't do episode 98 for Dragon ball kai since the cell saga was the end of Dragon Ball Z.
Dragon Ball Kai is revision for Dragon Ball Z, and Buu saga shown in Dragon Ball GT.

They planned 100 episodes of Kai so if it stops at the cell saga then that's where it was meant to stop.

And the Buu saga is part of Z, not GT. The Buu saga is the last one in the manga.

Thank you. Yeah, I always heard "around 100 episodes" and "tentatively 99 episodes," so I'm thinking, "Are people really that fucking stupid? As good as the site is, Kanzentai.com completely thinks it was cancelled despite the planned near 100 episodes.

I hope they get 98 subbed, I mean it IS part of the saga. Warriors of the Dead is the first episode of the "World Tournament Saga" which is pretty much the seasons leading up to/containing Buu.

I DO wish that they'd have done Buu though.

EDIT: Oh and if anyone even finds a Raw of the episode I'd appreciate a link to it.

Yeah I wish they'd get the Buu Saga, but oh well. I'm kind of surprised no one has #98. The only two links I've seen on the net are fake (44mb files, just shitty quality DBZ episodes).

Now we'll have to wait over a year for the dub. Hell, at this point I'd take a raw.

FYI, I discovered last night that episode #98 is finally out and subbed.

Scroll down past the video and there are links for up to 1080p HD. Glad this episode is finally out. It's interesting that the company who made it said they would have around 99 episodes (meaning no Buu saga) but at the end of this episode they make it sound like it was cancelled. "Goku's journey continues, but we'll leave that story for another time. Until we meet again."
