They are. 08th MS Team is one of my favorites in the series. However, as I said, to understand Unicorn and why Char was so important that now some guy is imitating him, it is best to watch in the order I listed. However, I was unable to watch the garbage that was ZZ Gundam.

there are 6 ova but its going to take a few years for all of them to come out idk y they going to take 6 to 7 months to for the next episode which sucks.

It is not ridiculous. Every ova has movie quality animation (in fact, better than most movies) and it's 1 hour long. So there's no reason to treat any of the ovas diferently from a movie. It's a pretty similar case to the kara no kyoukai movies, but this one has even better animation (while knk only managed to be the best anime movies ever).
