i buy stuff only when I have the feeling to collect it v(works i love the most). In this case, I buy in the "next door" manga shop for mangas, while for anime boxes I use ebay and online stores, which in spite of shipment costs seem to be the cheapest way.

^^Agreed, I bought an awesome nekomimi aviator hat on eBay that was handmade to my size for like $40, nets' way cheaper. I like to go to the shops and the cons, but really expensive. I like animehot on eBay, they make good stuff. Only stores local really are BestBuy and Borders for me, and they kinda suck, who wants to spend $200+ for a boxset, even if you REALLY loved whatever series??
