Elfen Lied - It was a great anime, but it meant having to go past scenes of limb tearing, nudity and a huge amount of gore. It's just not Elfen Lied anymore if you took out all those parts off the anime.

Bokusatsu Tenshi Dokuro-chan - She may look cute and innocent, until those 'accidental perving' moments in which then series of bloodbath is followed after.

Higurashi no Naku Koro ni - Moral of the story: JUST TRUST YOUR DAMN FRIENDS.

I'll also throw this one out there, Berserk has some pretty jacked up stuff in it I guess. It didn't bother me, but I've read some people were mind fucked by it.

Although School Days was disturbing, it made me burst in laugh, because I'm weird :/

Elfen Lied is disturbing i guess. But, I didn't like it all that much..

Though, someone actually mentioned GANTZ, I'm surprised nobody mentioned the works of Kitoh Mohiro.. I mean, Bokurano and Shadow Star (Narutaru) are completely batshit. Atleast Narutaru, I knew that it was crazy before I watched it. But really. That last episode was just... Yeah.

but I haven't watched much anime lately...guess it's because of similar storylines and typical anime stuff. nothing new, really
