Default Seiyuu: Kana Hanazawa - 07-24-2011, 10:54 PM

So I've noticed over the past couple of seasons that Kana Hanazawa has appeared in the majority of shows as of late. I personally love her voice but it's getting a little tiring hearing her in so many roles especially using the same pitch and tone in her voice most of the time. Do you guys feel the same way or do you think the amount of roles she gets is justifiable in regards to her talent?

I agree and disagree. Kana deserves the parts she is getting. I think she has a wonderful voice and she does have some range.

That being said she has been using the same tone in her voice recently. Its almost the same circumstance as Kugimiya because she has been over using her tsundere voice as well. Personally I like their voices and I think they do what works to get them money and what the majority of what mainstream wants.

They have already proven that they can act now they can just auto-pilot the rest of their career with a few challenging roles here and there. Nothing really you can do about it and I don't blame either of them for what they are doing and its the production companies that offer them the parts.

The first time i heard Kana was in AB, i was amazed by her Tenshi voice, and always loved her by then, but when i realised she also had another voice i grew attached to that aswell, i'm not growing tired of her yet, YOU FREAKING KNOW HOW MANY TIMES I HAD TO LISTEN TO KUGIMIYA? >.<

Too much of a good thing is bad. It's good for her that she's getting so many roles, but it does get repetitive after a while.
Like Kugimiya. Even some Kugimiya fags grew tired of her voice over time.

In regards to Kugimiya Rie, they've taken the tsudere loli role and beaten it to death (JC Staff). To the point where she is generally frowned upon because of it. Though with those who are more familiar with her roles knows there's more to her than that.

With Kana it seems there attempting to fit her into a lot of roles pertaining to the sterotypical airheaded kind of girl.

Yeah that's why I could never hate Kugimiya for it. As for Kana the perfect example of what you mentioned is Shiemi in Ao no Exorcist. I say let them enjoy their success but we might have to suffer for it.

Guys, it isn't the seiyuu; it is the tedium of these stereotypical characters that we see over and over and over. Blame the writers.

"There were 3 sisters, and, a man might ride for days and never set eyes upon such maidens. Marie, tall and grave, and Blanche, petite and gay, and the dark Agnes, eyes that went through you like a waxed arrow. I stayed there as long as four days, and was betrothed to them all; for it seemed shame to set one above her sisters, and might make ill blood in the family. Yet, for all my care, things were not merry in the house, and I thought it well to come away."

The first time I heard Hanazawa's voice was in "To-Love-Ru", but I've noticed that it was her only when I've watched "Kobato". Her voice is very lovely, that's all I can say. Give her all the roles they can give, I don't care... I love her voice haha!
