The thing with LE Fam is that for me, it seems pretty lacking in the character growth and development part, and I'm really big on that. There is also no suspense in the story for me like it's predecessor where it was about figuring out what Exile was and what Al's true purpose was. It was fun watching Claus's growth as a character to reach his goal that was Grand Stream. LE Fam is just about war, and I generally dislike war stories (with a few exceptions). Also, maybe I'm biased, but I would've preferred a male protagonist (just not a Shinji archetype).
Ah yes, that was my exact first impression when I watched the show. I don't mind Fam being the main heroine but it seems rather empty and lacking without a male protagonist. Gisey could have been a kuudere boy or something, to compliment a rash and active Fam.

After the first few eps I can already see that they won't focus much on character development but the war itself so I already let that part go. I'm assuming you're still watching just to see how things wrap up?

Oh yes, one thing I would have wanted when they announced a sequel was to find out what happened to the main characters in the prequel (i know there is a manga somewhere) but yea, LE Fam is pretty much ok for me.

I'm quite agree with that and to be honest I prefer the 1st season.

I hoping from the beginning of this series that there will be any male protagonist to help Turan with their war. Sadly, that's not happened. But until now I think LE Fam they were ok to watch for both man and women. Preview of episode 16, what you guys think? A bit story from the previous characters?

The recap episode of the previous season brought back so many nostalgia. This has made my day.

I can't quite explain the art of the previous season, but it seems more softer and classy looking, if that makes any sense. Also, Eri Kitamura, sure sounded different back then...

And damn, the last extra new clip of Claus and Lavie is just a tease!

They spoiled my Last Exile with this pathetic excuse for a new season. This show is utter shit compared to the first series, makes me so sad.

I did not saw the first series but as far as I understood from "Second Adjournment" episode and the final of the episode before, is Luscinia after the Exile from the first series?

I agree with you 100%, even though you worded it quite harshly. That might upset the fans of the 2nd season (if they even exist, which I doubt).

No, Luscinia is a brand new character that was introduced in the new season. By the way, stop watching this terrible sequel and go watch the original. You owe it to yourself to watch one of the most breathtaking classics of the last decade.

Episode 15.5/16.5/17 (this anime has so many problems) actually made me a little excited about this series, if only they would drop the new cast for the original one and bring back Alex like they did with Dio.

No matter what, I still will not think this series as a part of the original.

Lol, there are fans. I'm one of them and there are others as well (though maybe not in this forum)

So happy to see Claus and Lavie again. Just reminded me how cool a vanship is. Fam should ditch that vespa and get one herself. Ugh, now I feel like rewatching the first season again *looks for the vcds*

Fam is one of the main reasons I hate this show, she is a completely stupid MC. Claus had his issues don't get me wrong, but he had actual character growth that showed him getting through his issues, such as fighting in the war etc. Fam is just like "No we can't lets love everybody, peace, let me steal all these warships and then not really use them for war"

Fucking stupid.

Ahahaha! Agreed, such a waste seriously. Chill man chill. Though I'm wondering why you're still watching it if you hate it.
