Top 10 Anime to "move to tears (Tearjerking)"

DISCLAIMER/NOTE: Our opinions may vary and please, if you want to rant/troll, do it somewhere else... because obviously our preferences will be different compared to Japanese, and their preferences will be different as well amongst themselves.
And also, like I posted in the other thread, THESE LISTS ARE NOT VOTED BY SANCOM!!! These lists are brought up from "Anime One (Japanese anime community)" and Sankaku mearly posts the list in their site.
And here I am, posting the same list here as well to share with people in AT.
SO PLZ, DON'T SAY SOMETHING BS LIKE: "This is SanCom bs list.." or " WTF IS THIS?? horrible list..." etc..

The title says it all: Top *10" anime that is sad and moving voted by JAPANESE fans (2688 people voted)

1. Mahou Shoujo Madoka Magica

2. Clannad

3. Angel Beats!

4. Ano Hi Mita Hana no Namae o Boku-tachi wa Mada Shiranai

5. Toradora!

6. Code Geass

7. Gundam Seed

8. Bakemonogatari

9. Natsume’s Book of Friends

10. Air

Overall, I'm surprised that Air got 10th which I think it should by tied with Clannad. And also, Ano Hana is not even finished yet and got 4th place?? lol

Anyway, I'll continue to post these kind of lists time to time (or someone else will) though, if you're regular reader of SanCom than you can read it from there as they post it faster or if you know Japanese like I am, you can read straight off from Anime One with Japanese comments as well.

I'm surprised Clannad is up there, and not Clannad After Story which was much more emotionally moving, and no Kanon 2006, for shame. Code Geass is alright, but saddening and a tearjerker... no way lol.

That list is by 2ch and yes, it makes more sense though, it seems preferences of 2ch is different to AnimeOne

and for 2ch, they divided the votings to two section: late-night anime and mainstream animation (movies/cartoons)

And for this one, it was casually voted with variety of preferences in which, I think the list is kind of... gay I guess.

CLANNAD in this list actually, mentioning both the 1st season and after story. And yes, I wonder where did Kanon go....

can't agree with Madoka being on top though (and i'm saying this as a gushing Madoka fanatic), sure, it was pretty damn epic, but there were other series that do way better in drawing tears from viewers. i'd put Madoka further down the list.

last thing: list needs more oldies. stuff from the past, where all the true gems are.

but if these are the anime series that the Japanese are into nowadays...

And no one metions Chrono Crusade.... Oh well.

Another anime that made shed a tear was the first series of Negima.
