just pointing out, the description for the list is sad AND moving anime. not necessarily grouped together. could b one or the other. so if you look at it in that sense some of the list seems to make more sense.
if its moving anime id have to go with strawberry panic. there were a couple parts in it that managed to move even my block of ice heart.

To be honest, Clannad didn't really move nor make me cry. D;
But one anime that really sticks out to me that did would be Fruits Basket. Jeez, that anime made me cry so much. .___.

nobody mention Rumble Hearts (Kimi ga Nozomu Eien)? After Clannad, It should be this series not that goddam Magica because this series focuses more in despair than any other series.
