Although legendary is saying a bit too much... I see no reason for most of you to just flame the person who started the thread instead of just adding *your* list. It's great that you can disagree so adamantly while contributing nothing to the thread.

For me, though I wouldn't necessarily call them legendary, but rather anime series which I have enjoy, been enjoying, or simply couldn't stop watching (whether new or old):

*note: they aren't in any specific order other than just my process of recollecting them.

Bleach, D. Gray-man, True Tears, Clannad, Claymore (until it strayed deeply from the manga), Ga-Rei -Zero-, The Daughter of Twenty Faces, Mnemosyne, Phantom ~ Requiem for the Phantom~, Kara no Kyoukai: The Garden of Sinners, Koukaku no Regios. - though I must admit, one of the first animes that I watch was DBZ - it was entertaining too.

Go ahead and flame children. If you would like any sort of explanation for my choices, feel free to ask, though I might not be able to give much of a solid reasoning for some... I just simply enjoyed them.

First he needs to give a better definition for legendary. His definition pretty much means anything that is popular or something that people think is better than others.

Ephemeral, I have two things to say to you... First off I posted in this thread to talk about TCGs. Secondly, Phantom? I'm not saying it's not good but do you feel comfortable calling something that hasn't even finished legendary?

Also as MJM said legendary is pretty much a blanket term. I could go around saying this and that about my legendary big toe if I was so inclined.

actually they have a robotech and macross version of sdf-1. theyre exactly the same aside from the voices hahaha, it freaked me out when i watched it.

I agree with the fellow above. To say that an anime title is legendary just because it pleases someone is not the same as an anime title that changed or left it's mark on the anime history. I will not throw more wood into the fire (mostly because I already gave my opinion) but people are free to think whatever they want. If "A" person believes that Evangelion (for example) is a legendary anime, no one can say he's right or wrong.

Of course, if it had been stated what legendary anime rules are, it would be a diferent story...
