Synopsis
Republic of Biscotti faces a predicament by the invasion of Galette Leo Knights. In order to save the country, Princess Milchore summons a "hero" from the outer world. Shinku, a junior high school boy living in the Earth, is chosen as the hero.

EDIT once more: Finished, and this doesn't seem like it's a pussy protagonist (spelled right right? )
Although this does look like a childish show, or is that just me?

On my watch list, and yeah the protagonist doesn't seem to be a coward..but then again he isn't really killing anyone...Still its nice to have a protagonist with energy.

Still its a bit selfish to summon a hero over for a war with the only negative being citizens being sad for a bit...

So far so good. He isn't a wuss and jumped into the "war". As soon as I saw fireworks, I knew that this "war" wasn't really a war.

When that dog put that knife in his mouth and aimed it up, I said "Oh shit, is it going up there?".

I'm glad it didn't.

I was hoping for a full blown fantasy with an actual war raging, and I might have overlooked the furriness. However, when they brought it out that it was just a competition, I lost what little hope I had.

Pretty amazing cast in this show... and that's about it.

I'm disappointed by the lack of apprivoise and Kiraboshi.

What the hell did I just watch? You have Zero no Tsukaima like magic, Utawarerumono like people, ninja warrior (Sasuke) battlefield style, and final fantasy birds all rolled up into one. As side from that we have a dog vs cat war going on in the Kingdom of Biscuit, where one hit turns you into a ball like animal (dog/cat depending on your side). It's bumming ideas off of everyone.

I'm turning into a cynic! I gotta relax..relax. This was just the second anime of the new season. Deep breath. It is bad, but not as bad Nana to Kaoru, but still bad. I think I need a break.

This was a pretty weird episode. This so-called 'war' between the cat and dog people ends up consisting of battles that are pretty much mini sports events, complete with announcers. Looks it's going to be one of those cute series, but the seiyuu cast is pretty good.
