Months after the last scene of the television series. On a calm day in Akihabara, Okabe and the other laboratory members are invited by Faris go to America. Mayuri and the rest are planning to reunite with Kurisu, who had come back to an American laboratory. A few days later, Okabe's mad scientist persona Kyōma Hōōin arrives alone at the airport in Los Angeles, where he may be taking the first step to leading the world into chaos.

This episode is a sequel to the series and possibly a prequel to the movie. It probably hints that the movie is going to be a sequel that chronicles the aftermath.

OMG this looks epic! cannot wait to see what happens.

Still want a happy ending for these two love birds they have gone through a lot well Okabe more.

Well, That extra episode was FABULOUSS. Look's like they knew the fans wanted to see Okarin x Kurisu again. Kurisu so fucking cute <3

I wanted to see what happen'd to those 2 after that lol, stranded in the middle of no where. Now next thing we need to wait for is the movie

"Close your eyes" is what Kurisu said. Immediately after that black screen with the ending credits and music starting. Talk about being trolled. Now, you can use your imagination and choose your path. You can go the romantic path and say they kissed, and started dating and beyond, or you could go the slap in the face path. Which ever one, it'll be entertaining. In any event, I'm glad we finally were able to see Suzuha's mom. To think that pervert is going to get it on with her, he's lucky.
