Ouch... Definitely no second season from that. They left out a good portion of the comedy in order to focus on the family element, presumably to compensate for the premise and appeal to a wider audience. Since most people would not want discs with a description like this show has on the cover sitting among their collection regardless, this probably only succeeded in boring its usual market instead.
