The Twelve Kingdoms, i was searching for this for a long time and i have but a few questions that i would like to ask.

My first question is: What happened? I heard a rumor of sorts that some one who was involved with the anime died in an accident of sorts and that was why it was stopped.

My Second question is: Is there a Manga? And if there is, is it still on going or ended?

the series did stop only halfway. I understand there is a manga, or book series to be more precise, but it wasnt translated all the way through or something? and my sis did mention something about a producer or someone dying. If you want more precise answers, google is your friend.

The anime is 44 eps long but 12 kingdoms is originally a series of novels by Fuyumi Ono. Last I heard viz were translating them Dunno how long its gonna take em though.

Yes there is a series of novels that this anime is based off of.

If you are watching this series stop on the 9th disc. the 10th starts a new arc that will never be finished. That is what i was told. never watched the 10th. it was a good end stopping on the 9th.
