Well I've been looking to upgrade my gurren lagann fansub releases with dvd ones but for some reason all the groups releasing have issues
Rax : Very poor video quality, Nice Subtitles
~AA~ : Horrendous video quality
Etb : Fantastic video quality but tiny subs??, and cant be remuxed due to ordered chapters
Eg-bss : Average quality, Odd looking subtitles
Is there any group that released it with the video quality of Etb but with normal subtitles

You could just override the font style used within MPC or similar. It gets a bit ugly if they translated signs and stuff, but it's a quick and dirty method.
It is also possible to remux mkv files which use ordered chapters, but it takes a little bit more effort. Instructions below.
I'll put this in a spoiler because of the textwall:
( Click to show/hide )
I presume you know how to alter to subtitle font size using [Only registered and activated users can see links. ] or something (if you don't, tell me and I'll write up a tutorial), so I'll just describe how to remux ordered chapters without breaking them. I'll also assume you're on Windows.
Brief summary:
Each mkv file with ordered chapters have a unique fingerprint, something called a Segment UID (SUID). When you remux normally, this is what changes and therefore breaks the ordering as the files are looking for a particular SUID.
So essentially all you need to do is find out the SUID of the original file and then when you remux, to reuse that same SUID. This way the new file will have the same SUID as the old.
Actual method:
This is actually a lot easier than it seems, but I tend to over explain stuff.
1. Grab a recent version of [Only registered and activated users can see links. ], latest version is [Only registered and activated users can see links. ], and install it.
2. Inside the folder where you installed MKVToolnix, you should find mkvinfo.exe. Right click + drag it and make a shortcut to it.
3. Right click the shortcut you just made and go to Properties and in the Target box, add a -g to the end and press OK. So basically it should become something like this:
[Only registered and activated users can see links. ]
4. Now double click the shortcut and mkvinfo should open. From there, got to File > Open and select the mkv you want to remux.
5. Now go to File > Save info as text and save to where ever, i.e. your Desktop.
6. Open the text file you just saved and look for the line with Segment UID in it. It should look something like this:
7. The bit I've highlighted red is what you need, make note of it somewhere.
8. Now open mmg.exe (mkvmerge) from MKVToolnix. It should look like the image below.

9. In the Input tab, click the Add button and select the mkv you want to remux (same one you used in step 4).
10. Click the Add button again and this time select your edited subtitle file.
11. In the Tracks, chapters and tags section, untick the original subtitle. It's usually the 3rd one down.
12. In the Global tab, in the Segment UIDs section, paste the SUID you got from step 6.

13. Click Start muxing and it should take a few seconds. You should now have a remuxed mkv file with ordered chapters intact.
Repeat the process from step 4 onwards for any other mkv files you have which use ordered chapters that you want to remux.
Knowing my luck, one of the mods will probably delete this thread so effort = wasted.
