Default Anime's you remenisce about - 02-04-2011, 02:40 AM

So I recently had an anime come back to me, a recent anime that pushed the boundaries, people called it Gurren Lagann without the Mecha's. Can you guess?

Yeah, I'm talking about Needless, while looking back at pictures I learned this anime had been licensed and collection one is out later this month, another of Sentai Filmworks released that has a dub. We didn't think it would happen but it sure did.

Of course Anime such as lucky Star and Haruhi Suzumiya I haven't ever forgotten about so long after watching them the first time.

Had any reminiscence for an anime lately?

Needless is godawful.. And remenice about it? It came out only like a year ago lol...

When I think of reminiscing about something I think 5-10+ years ago, something like DB\DBZ, which set the standard for shounen imo. If i had to say something else it would be Yu Yu Hakusho, since it reminded me so much about dbz.

Are you referring to it having bunches of half naked lolis and girls without it being a harem anime or for the epic ED?

I have an anime I often think about, however it has been so long that I no longer remember it's name. So, how about some help? Although I know this is a stab in the clouds, perhaps someone out there has seen it or read a manga about it and can give me a hint. I know this show was an anime because it was aired in between Kimba The White Lion and Speed Racer.

Story Synopsis: Literally a boy and his dolphin. If I remember correctly he could communicate with the dolphin a breath under water (not positive), but not for long periods of time. The boy was young maybe between 8 and 12. He also wore a bright blue diving suit. The suit came equipped with a small folding boomerang that could be folded up and slipped into a small pocket located (I believe) in the upper right arm in front of the shoulder. I'm sure he was taken off the aired before some kid imitated him with the Boomerang and put somebody's eye out. It could be I have already found it but cannot recognize it because of those wonderful childhood goggles we are all born with and don't loose until we find out there is no nap time or cookies and milk break once you get to first grade.

Any help would be appreciated. And this was circa 1968-1972.

Thanks for any help boy, girls, witches. vampires, succubus, aliens. etc.etc.etc.

Nice fan service....frppin time.......no wait AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH no no no

Obviously the anime that I always reminisce about was on the bad side was School Days, cause of the unpredictable scenarios.
On the good side was Bakemonogatari, especially when HItagi-san confessed to KOyomi Araragi that she loves him.
