Hey guys just wondering if i can ask a quick question is it necessary or better to watch cardcaptor sakura before tsubasa (i understand that the two shows are related in someway the main characters are the same or something) or is it like same characters different situation type thing or would it be something like if you saw cardcaptor sakura years ago that tsubasa has litle nods or references to that show or something

i recently saw the first season of xxxholic and again told yuko shows up in tsubasa so is there an order to watch these things or just same characters different shows how do these shows relate to one another id appreciate any info

Same characters different situation.
All you need to know is that Syaoran and Sakura totally love each other.

Though personally, Cardcaptor Sakura is the better series.

If you're going to watch Tsubasa, its important to understand that it heavily ties in with xxxHolic, to the point that it becomes one core storyline.

If your going to watch Tsubasa and get the most out of it, you need to have seen most of the CLAMP stuff. So Chobits, Card Captor Sakura, Kobato. xxxHolic... is like intertwined with Tsubasa so much, that you should probably watch both off and on. However, thats a bit ambitious, in my opinion you should probably watch xxxHolic first, then Tsubasa, and then watch the Shunraiki to both xxxHolic and Tsubasa.

As you can tell, I like CLAMP

Last time I check the Tsubasa storyline wasn't completely animated either. I know they released some OVAs that picked up where Tsubasa: Reservoir Chronicles left off, but the series still hasn't tied in with the end of the manga yet. Of course, they could be waiting for the end of xxxHolic manga to release a final batch of OVAs that ties everything together and concludes everything.
