Kimi ga Nozomu Eien was horrible... We (i.e. everyone who watched it) wanted the Haruka route, but instead they gave us the Mitsuki route. The OVA, ~Next Season~ gave us that, but wasn't enough to satisfy our needs...
Another series worth mentioning is Moyashimon. Talking microbes. How can you NOT want to watch that? Also, another great trap awaits in the few final episodes~  "IE is that program you use to download Firefox when you get a new computer." |

I just finished watching Shigurui and that is the most awesome kick ass samurai anime ever. Also probably the bloodiest.
At the beginning of the Edo Era, when people enjoyed a time of peace, Lord Tokugawa Tadanaga holds a fighting tournament. In the past, matches were fought with wooden swords. This time, real swords will be used. One-armed Fujiki Gennosuke and blind Irako Seigen will fight each other in this match. Both are disciples of Iwamoto Kogan, who is known as Japan's greatest swordsman. Each of them are determined to prove himself the successor of Iwamoto's school. However, there can only be one champion. So begins a story of intertwining fates, conflict, and strange destinies. |

1. Kino no Tabi
The story revolves around Kino and her motorbike, Hermes, and their travels to different cities. They encounter different cultures, people, etc. It's a bit serious... 2. Serial Experiments Lain This one's about a girl who has a classmate who committed suicide but sent them a message a few days after her death. The protagonist has a split personality... >.< The plot is rather complicated... 3. Samurai 7 ( Meh, I consider this hidden because only I know about this in my class. =\ ) This is about seven samurai hired by rice to protect a farming village. The fight scenes are... *drool* |
