Anyone who's watched\tried to watch find this show just a bit to over the top?

I tried to watch it, but i mean there Goalie can make a super big hand come out of nowhere, kids jump 20 feet in the air to kick a flaming ball, and there's a coach that can freeze the players lol?

And this is all in like the first 10 episodes.

Wondering if it slows down with the over-the-top crap throughout the series, or should i just stop watching it now?

And that's not football. there's even some techniques like Naruto.

I've been watching this anime since the episode one aired. If you ignore completely the fact that they make fire or ice or they even make the ball rip the space and time fabric (yees, it happens) then the show is actually good.

By the way, whatever you see happen is just a representation of their shots or techniques based most of the times in their names for example. It's not like it actually happens. For example Kabeyama (the fat guy with a beard even though he is just a kid) has the wall and then the mountain, kabe means wall, yama means mountain. But if you look carefully even with a ball on fire it just won't burn neither the ball nor the net. It's just to make it look flashy for kids. You know, ignorance is a bliss.

I recommend the series even though the flashiness wont go away, actually the techniques will keep evolving.
