Kay... here's my theory...

Nagato is just at the library reading some random book like she probably always does on her day off, but she sees the little kid help the little girl get a library card. She sees this and remembers about the time Kyon got her a library card of her very own. And this is just my theory... but she actually smiles at the memory... BUT... she hides her smile behind the book so the audience can't see it. And if this is true, that means Nagato isn't exactly the emotionless Nagato she was before... she is very slowly changing to show more emotion.

Did anyone notice there was a slight difference between The Disappearance' bluray version and camrip version? When Kyon...

...finds the book Nagato left for him in the literary club. If I remember correctly in the camrip version (which I assume is the theatrical version), Kyon just runs to the shelf, gets the book and the bookmark with the hint drops to the floor. But in the bluray version there is a quick flashback scene of Nagoto giving Kyon the same book from S1.

Did I just imagine that in the camrip version? LOL. And if I didn't are there any other differences?

My god this film was epic. Endless Eight has been totally forgiven. This film truly showed us its full potential, which to be honest was kind of lacking from the majority of the TV series.

Itsuki Koizumi as a character is lacking. He hasnt been given much to do, so im hoping he's the focus on the next chapter.

I finally watched the Disappearance in 1080p glory. It was so artistic and brilliant, plus all the Nagato scenes just made it better.
Totally worth the 8 month wait since I didn't bother with the camrip version.

"Cute Nagato" as people seem to be calling her was pretty awesome, this is the first time I could understand why people like her so much. But cute Nagato also raises a question for me.

Cute Nagato clearly had a crush on Kyon, which makes me wonder, was this crush simply a byproduct of the real Nagato's temporal shenanigans, or a manifestation of feelings that the real Nagato has but is unable to express?

I love both versions of Nagato... I jumped on the Yuki Nagato bandwagon the first moment I saw her. And finally... almost four years later with The Disappearance' movie my loyalty and devotion was rewarded with moe Nagato! Two Nagatos for the price of one! LOL.

Hmmm...

...I think the only reason cute Nagato liked Kyon IMO, was because he was the hero that got her the library card that she was to shy to get. Demo... real Nagato purposely allowed cute Nagato to retain that memory even if it was slightly altered. So! IMO real Nagato wanted her alternate cute self to like Kyon for whatever reason even if real Nagato herself doesn't like Kyon in a romantic way.

But... real Nagato is very slowly gaining emotions... this is proven by the fact that she malfunctioned because of those emotions and changed the world in the first place. So it is only natural that her newly arising emotions would gravitate towards Kyon since it is her duty to protect him anyway.

Or you know... not. LOL.
