Just finished this series... It's incredible! Never have I felt so attached to and sorry for the characters of an anime. What does everyone else think?

Hopefully, they'll also make an anime adaptation for the manga.

It was a pretty good move for them to make this anime into a prequel for the original manga.

It was decent if they hadnt had so many damn "YOMI YOMI YOMI". seriously, kagura, i dont care how kawaii she is, she needs to learn a new word...sounds like a freaking pokemon...but i still found it okay other than that.

ga-rei zero is apparently the prequel to ga-rei which explores another group (maybe the guys in orange who got owned epically in the first ep?)

No, it stars Kagura and the guy introduced in the last scene.

Besides that part, Ga-Rei was pretty good. I hope the s2 will be better.

also, the anime was basically an explanation of the first arc... well cant really explain further without spoilers, but if you read it you'd understand. i guess a better way of saying it is that the anime is entirely background information for the manga ~ unnecessary to enjoy the manga but good for a better appreciation...

**manga is more comedy/romance/action oriented rather than drama/yuri (she was wayyyyy too in love with yomi lol). main character is the guy you see at the end ~ he meets kagura.

I was very favorably impressed by Ga-Rei Zero, in many different ways. However, I personally do not think there should be a second season.

In the final episode of G-RZ, they implied a direct continuity to the manga storyline, which was mediocre at best. The manga is the same old, washed out shit that mangakas have been churning out for years.

Then again, a crappy manga doesn't necessarily mean a crappy anime; if they hold true to the original plot line, I probably won't even bother watching it.
