Canaan season 2?

Just finished watching the Blu-ray set of "CANAAN." And noticed the set-up for the next season. I tried Googling it but alas to no avail. I was wondering if anyone knows anything about it being "green-lit" for another season?

It really sucks there has been no news about a second season. I really liked this show, so a second season would be welcomed.

Truly saddening I absolutely loved Cannon and I wish for more the ending made me sad

that is sad.. cannon was a killer show.. i thought they would have a second season for sure.. but like so many other shows.. it doesnt continue
