Man, Heisuke and Sannan both bite it. Now there's just Shinpachi roaming somewhere and Hijikata, I think, along with his base soldiers. This show has went from seemingly nowhere to tons of actions and deaths within the last arc. The change of pace was nice, but I think they should have started a bit earlier and gradually have had them die over time, not two here, two there. But any which way, what started out as Bishies swinging swords around lording over a reverse harem, the show has unexpectedly kept my interest and is very good.

I just hope we get more from the other onis before the show ends.

When I looked at the preview, it looked like Souji is still alive. I wonder if that was just some type of flashback or something.

You know, they could really make her hot or at least decent looking. Give her some boobs, slap some makeup on, to make her look a little bit womanly. Is that to much to ask? Every time I look at her, I'm reminded of her brother.

When Chizuru saw all Shinsengumi ghosts (their backs) I think Hijikata was among them... And I don't want to admit that, but I think he's dead. Thuough I've never been a big fan of Chizuru*Hijikata pairing I don't want them to be apart... Well, it's kinda an open ending with Hijikata in the end and all.
The last scene under the sakura tree was beautiful and tearjerking

I liked this season although there was so much death in it. But the music was simply beautiful

^It's hard to believe but he's dead. I don't think Chizuru can heal him and I think she took her own life, in order to be with him in the "after life"......something like that.
