What Anime Series Do You Think Should Be Remade?

I feel that these anime titles should be remade so that they follow the manga better along with other improvements in the art, animation, effects, etc.

*Gantz

*Mahou Sensei Negima! ~ aka. Negima! Magister Negi Magi (Not to be mistaken for Negima!? Neo, whose anime adaptation is Negima!?)

*Tsukihime

Gantz is a great manga that is ongiong to this day. I absolutely hated the way animators chose to skewer off the original storyline with their own not-so-well-done story arc. Also, they killed off EVERYONE. That doesn't happen in the manga!. Well... everyone did die, but they're coming back!

Mahou Sensei Negima's anime adaptation didn't fully follow the original manga's storyline and terribly skewered off the ending with that "Oh No! Asuna has died!" Ending.... I want a remake for this show SO BAD! Remember, this is not to be mistaken for Negima!?, which was the anime adaptation for Negima!? Neo (Negima!? Neo had that Kurobara Danshaku character...)

Fans of Type-Moon who have played the Tsukhime visual novel would agree that the Tsukihime anime adaptation should definitely be remade better.

These manga series have a TON of chapters under their belt (Tsukihime being a very extensive and branching story), so even if animators were to take these up now and do their usual storyline compression, it would take them months, no... years to catch up to where their storylines are currently at right now. If only they had followed the manga more...

Direct answer to that question....TSUKIHIME!! They ruined it badly :cries: I don't need to talk about it because everyone knows the whole story :/. Other series that should be remade.....JoJo's Bizarre Adventure. A definite classic should be brought back with modern animation WRYYYYYY! anyone?

Oh Crap! I can't believe I forgot to include that myelf! I am a terrible Tsukihime fan...

BTW, if they should remake the anime to a better one, don't you think it would be just great if whatever animation team/group/company takes the job make sure to somehow SHOW how+why each of the heroines fell in love with Shiki and especially SHOW the key parts. Like when Shiki refused to take off his glasses and fight Ciel, the thoughts going through Akiha's mind when Shiki was killed in her place at SHIKI's hands, and Shiki sucking on Hisui's finger (nah jk on that one, but I guess it'd be pretty kinky to include that huh?

the second half of gantz surely strayed from the manga storyline...

and yeah, shingetsutan tsukihime was cut a bit too short, even the plot changed midway, and i even wanted them to depict a bit more about how Ciel came to be

Naruto. They need to drop the whole "Dattebayo" and "Believe it!" bullshit, and maybe I'll consider glancing at it.

Minus the fact that you're totally gravedigging since the thread hasn't been posted on for over 5 months.

They have, because dattebayo doesn't sub it anymore. Not that I care, because it doesn't mean I want to watch it anymore anyway. How does that change the series anyway? That's just the sub group. :S

I think Maburaho should be remade. Some things were not explained and some things needed to be explained more thoroughly.
