Synopsis(off wiki):
Fortune Arterial's story revolves around the male protagonist Kohei Hasekura, who transfers into a prestigious public school in the style of an English six-year school encompassing junior-high and high school students. The school, named Shuchikan Academy is on an island named Tamatsu Island off-shore from mainland Japan, and the only way to get there is by boat. Soon after transferring, he discovers that one of the student in the class next door to his, Erika Sendo, is in fact a type of vampire.

Its based off an adult visual novel developed by August and after watching the first ep all the typical conventions of this genre and countless other series based off visual novels and ero games pop up, in my opinion it seems like the usual crap although its mixed with vampires pressumably although you didn't see any sign of this till the end of the first ep, the end of the first ep did have a cliff hanger so i'll watch the next episode or so and see

That was not true. The first episode wasn't bad at all. I also like the ending song.

I Disagree! - I LIKED IT!. While some of you are hard-core Otaku's who see everything and probably find this series trite please remember some of us are not as "seasoned" and find shows like this Fresh and Fun. I don't do visual novels so I am completely unfamiliar with this format.

This time last year - I was only following like 3-4 New animes. Since last Spring & Summer I am now following like 6-8 per season. These "types" are series are new to some of us. I don't care if you spoil me or tell me how crappy it is. It's new to me and I'm looking forward to it. Aside from "Index 2" this series is the one I was most curious about and it lived up to my expectations.

I think "MM!" & "Psychic Detective" are better than this but like "The World that God knows" this is a cute & fun little school drama with some mild fan service. It could easily be strong out of the gate like "Okami san" but then I was bored by episode 5.

I understand some of these shows are "rehashes" of other ideas but someone of us don't watch Everything so it's always New to someone. I can see why others would find it bland.

If I pick up a series, I usually watch to EP 3 or 4 before making any decisions. This one has vampires, and I'm assuming they do not sparkle in the sunlight, so i gotta at least have a look. DLing EP 1 now.

it surely wont be one of my alltime favs, but it seems like it will be a enjoyable series.
No ecchi overload; a good drawing style; vampires and some chars that might be interesting.. .. good enough for me ^.^
