Well for some new and different is always a winning combination. Personally its a hit and miss situation with me just like with most things. What I just witnessed was nothing short of an abomination, the likes of which I hope to never see again.

I look forward to the flames of discussion in here as I will never again look upon this thread but opinions are always nice as it helps people choose of their own volition whether to try a series or not.

To those who did enjoy it all I can say is Rock On you crazy kids!!

One of the worst things i've seen in the last years. It is simply pathetic. The animation is weird, but i have nothing against it, and in fact, it's one of the only thing i can say in favor (even if it's not original, but a copy of powerpuff's).
The rest, just lame. This first episode tried to be funny, using this 4 key elements: a girl that is a slut, shit, vomits, and violence against a dog. And they used this in a raw state, in other words, they just showed the girl being slutty and for some reason that should have been funny for them; or they showed people covered in shit, and alone should have been funny; or the people vomit, and that's supposed to be funny again... There's not a single intelligent joke in all the episode, not even one. This anime is SO stupid, that it makes south park look incredibly intelligent.

I gotta agree with most of what I've read about this anime, it was pretty bad. It looks like one of those failed shows on Cartoon Network that only play in the mid-afternoon but loaded with poor sexual references and a slew of swear words.

I understand the concept but the execution fails miserably. I'm still going to finish the series anyway since I have a habit of never dropping any anime that I start watching.

Its like a flipside to the powerpuff girls. and thats just funny. Not to mention that stupid train XD

Epic win Gainax, Epic win.

Those that cant cope with it are not open to new ideas. Besides, it's basically just a homage to American cartoon shows.
