Default Where do I buy anime and manga? - 10-01-2010, 02:31 AM

Just wondering, where would one buy anime/manga online or irl? and how expensive would it be?
(I'd prefer cheapest , asian cheapness ftw)
I live in the eastern suburbs on Melbourne, Victoria if that's of any help.

Well, if you would live in europe I could help you, I buy some of my stuff at internet seller, but I think it's a but stupid to buy American stuff in Europe.
But I bought most of my manga at an book-festival, it's running a bit far of my home but you recuperate with the cheapness over there. I couldn't believe that a price of €1.95 ( around 2.66$), would be existing on this globe and for first hand some where not even out the original package. The only annoying thing is that they a dot in some ink on the side to prevent reselling it( I didn't notice it but this is not annoying). They only got stuff of tokyopop and yen press, even the wideban falls under the same price.
And an other place that I found was when I went on a city-trip, there was some big book store that is well know to also purchase second hand in that country. I thought that maybe they have some difficult to find stuff, so I went inside. It looked small outside, but in the inside it was huge! A darn entire block, I went to the comic section and indeed there were some manwha! I was really happy, and when I checked the price tag it was only a €2 ( or 2.73$). I checked the inside, that it isn't a fake, and indeed it was the real stuff... The real stuff, in damn Korean! Wtf, is the Korean stuff doing on the other side of the globe!
