Well it seems that there is going to be a new anime for Berserk.
I really hope that they are going to continue with the anime since it had such a cliffhanger ending
I wouldn't mind if they do a remake of the first season but a second season would be more great

The best manga of all times is getting a second anime.... i'm crying manly tears right now.
If they are making a short anime, maybe it'll be better if they just remake the first part... but the best part comes after that, so I woud really like to see that part adapted, even if it would take like 50 episodes at least (and in the end lead to nowhere since the manga is ongoing at an extremely low pace).
The first anime was a good adaptation, and only minor changes were made (except for the skeleton knight thing, i can't think of anything else really important).

At least they're getting a full blown anime, now.

I remember way back that they were going to remake the Berserk anime, but that eventually got scrapped. It would be nice to see a modern release of Berserk whether it be a remake or a second season.

Remakes are for fags. A continuation after all this time may sound incredible but lets not forget what happened with Inuyasha. That finale series was fucking horrendous. Still there is always an acception to any rule. Terminator 2 was better than the original and with regards to remakes Casshern Sins was fucking epic.

The idea was spot on releasing the anime after the manga finished and should definitely be done for Berserk but not rushed and done properly. We are talking about anime/manga royalty here though so its doubtful anyone would go ahead with any plans without seriously putting effort in to the endeavour

Berserk's manga is not one you can easily adapt into anime, but if they go fast pace, and start from the end of the previous one they can do it in 50. That would be the ideal, but we all know it's not gonna happen.
